dans la Salle du trône du Palais princier que sera célébré le mariage civil du prince Albert II de Monaco et de Mademoiselle Charlène Wittstock.

 

C’est Philippe Narmino, président du Cosneil d’Etat et Officier de l’Etat civil de la famille princière qui officiera.

 

A 18 h

 

 

Les mariés apparaîtront au balcon du Palais.

 

Il est alors prévu que la fanfare des carabiniers et la Palladienne jouent la marche solenelle « Princess Charlene’s Anthem » composée en l’honneur de la mariée par Jean-Christophe Aurnague, titulaire des orgue du Sacré Coeur de Monaco.

 

C’est dans ce même lieu que le prince Rainier avait épousé Grace Kelly le 18 avril 1956. 

 

 Les mariés qui seront habillés par le couturier Armani, signeront les registres du mariage avec un stylo spécialement créé pour l’occasion par Montblanc, orné de pierres précieuses et décoré du monogramme du couple princier.

 

La cérémonie sera diffusée par la chaîne Euronews (à partir de 16h45)

et par BFM TV (TNT France)

 

Le couple princier se rendra ensuite sur la Place du Palais pour assister à la réception offerte aux Monégasques.

 

7618 personnes ont ainsi été invitées.

 

Le maire de Monaco, Georges Marsan remettra aux mariés le cadeau des Monégasques.

 

Lors du cocktail dînatoire, des mets monégasques et sudafricains seront servis.

 

A 22 heures

 

 

Les mariés assisteront au concert de Jean-Michel Jarre sur Port Hercule.

 

 

Ce 2 juillet après la cérémonie du mariage religieux dans la Cour d’honneur du Palais princier, le prince Albert et la princesse Charlène de Monaco se dirigeront en voiture hybride vers l’église Sainte Dévote. Sainte Dévote est la Sainte Patronne de la Principauté.

 

La légende raconte que Dévote, une jeune chrétienne corse aurait été martyrisée vers l’an 303.

 

Ses amis dérobèrent sa dépouille et la déposèrent dans une barque pour l’emmener vers l’Afrique.

 

Les vents contraires conduisirent finalement l’embarcation vers Monaco. Son corps fut alors enseveli dans une chapelle dite « des Gaumates » à proximité du port.

 

L’église actuelle a été transformée une première fois par le prince Honoré II en 1606 puis en 1870 .

 

Son clocher se situe à 15m de hauteur et date également de 1870.

 

La légende de Sainte Dévote est un élément majeur de la culture et du folklore de la Principauté.

 

La Sainte est célébrée le 27 janvier avec le traditionnel embrasement d’une barque.

 

Cérémonie à laquelle a participé pour la première fois Charlène cette année.

 

La mariée y déposera son bouquet avant de regagner le Palais princier.

 

 

Ce samedi 2 juillet 2011 à partir de 15h30, la chaîne de télévision belge RTBF diffusera le mariage religieux du prince Albert de Monaco et de Mademoiselle Charlène Wittstock.

 

J’aurai le plaisir de commenter l’événement en compagnie de la journaliste Barbara Louys, de Gérald Watelet et de Betrand Deckers, journaliste à « Royals »

 

Il sera également possible de suivre cette retransmission sur le site web de la RTBF (www.rtbf.be) Vendredi 1er juillet, lors de l’émission « C’est du Belge« , un chat sera organisé sur le site de la RTBF afin d’échanger avis et commentaires sur le mariage civil
